During the 2026 Alabama Chambers Professional Development Conference presented by Alabama Self-Insured Worker's Compensation Fund, held in Daphne, AL, fifteen chamber professionals were recognized with the Distinguished Service Award for their career achievements and tenure of service to the chamber industry. Professionals are eligible for recognition following 5 years of service to the profession.
Those receiving their five year recognition this year include the following: Brenda Dennis, IOM, Millbrook Area Chamber of Commerce; Urainah Glidewell, Pell City Chamber of Commerce; Vanessa Royal, IOM, Wetumpka Area Chamber of Commerce; Lenzi Womack, Opelika Chamber; Ashley Colquitt, Opelika Chamber; and Jonathan Vo, Etowah Chamber.
