During the 2025 Alabama Chambers Professional Development Conference presented by Alabama Self-Insured Worker's Compensation Fund, held in Tuscaloosa, AL, five chamber professionals were recognized with the Distinguished Service Award for their career achievements and tenure of service to the chamber industry. Professionals are eligible for recognition following 10 years of service to the profession. Those receiving recognition this year include the following: Caitlin Burns, Shoals Chamber, 10 years; Sandy Williams, Elba Chamber of Commerce, 20 years; Kristy Drake, Huntsville/Madison County Chamber, 10 years; Mary McNairy, Huntsville/Madison County Chamber, 15 years; and Anna Hovey, Auburn Chamber of Commerce, 10 years.
