Dadeville, Alabama — November 11— The Lake Martin Dadeville Area Chamber of Commerce proudly announces the hiring of its first full-time Chief Executive Officer (CEO), marking an exciting new chapter in the Chamber’s ongoing commitment to community and economic development across the Lake Martin region.
The Board of Directors has selected Bridget Thornell to serve as the Chamber’s inaugural CEO. This milestone transition from volunteer-led operations to professional management will enhance the Chamber’s ability to serve its members, support local business growth, and strengthen partnerships throughout Dadeville, Jackson’s Gap, Camp Hill, Reeltown, and the surrounding Lake Martin area.
“As our community continues to grow, we recognized the need for dedicated, professional leadership to help our Chamber expand its programs and outreach,” said Rhonda Gaskins, President of the Board of Directors. “We’re confident that Bridget will bring energy, vision, and experience that will benefit both our members and our local economy.”
As CEO, Thornell  will oversee daily Chamber operations, membership development, events, and community initiatives while serving as the public voice of the organization. The position is supported in part by funding from the Tallapoosa County Commission, whose partnership made the expansion of Chamber leadership possible.
The Chamber currently represents more than 175 local businesses and organizations and continues to play a central role in promoting business engagement, civic pride, and tourism development throughout the Lake Martin area.
